Sedation Dentistry
Compassionate sedation options for anxious patients, from gentle nitrous oxide to deeper oral and IV sedation, led by Dr. Eden Seitomer with over a decade of experience.

Private Consultation
We discuss your anxiety level, medical history, and treatment needs to recommend the best sedation option for you.
Pre-Appointment Preparation
You'll receive clear instructions about eating, medications, and arranging an escort if needed for oral or IV sedation.
Monitored Sedation
Your sedation is carefully administered and monitored throughout your procedure to ensure safety and comfort.
Comfortable Recovery
You'll rest in our office until the sedation begins to wear off, then your escort will take you home to fully recover.
Will I be completely unconscious during sedation?+
It depends on the level of sedation. With nitrous oxide, you remain fully awake and aware. Oral sedation keeps you awake but deeply relaxed. IV sedation produces a deeper state of relaxation, though you can still respond to cues. None of these options render you completely unconscious like general anesthesia.
Is sedation dentistry safe?+
Yes. Dr. Seitomer has specialized training and over a decade of experience in sedation dentistry. We continually monitor your vital signs throughout the procedure, and for IV sedation, we work with highly qualified dental anesthesiologists to ensure your safety.
Will I need someone to drive me home?+
For nitrous oxide, no. The effects wear off within minutes, and you can drive yourself. For oral and IV sedation, you will need an escort to drive you home and stay with you until the effects fully dissipate.
